🧑🔬#RegenerativeMedicine, tested a new therapy based on ultrasonic stimulation to achieve anti-inflammatory effects on macrophages, the #cells of the immune system.
🎤 “The results may pave the way for safe and effective treatment of diseases in which chronic inflammation plays an important role,” says the team of researchers from the Institute of BioRobotics at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna.
ℹ️ The study, published in APL Bioengineering, is a collaboration with Bac Technology and Image Guided Therapy, and is part of the Admaiora project activities.
