At Regentis, Ms. Segev holds a position of Materials Scientist. Ms. Segev received her B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering with Great Honor from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. She did her research project at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Seliktar, Regentis founder, where she gained experience in working with PEG-fibrinogen biosynthetic hydrogels. Ms. Segev has high-level skills in biosynthetic polymer production, rheology, cell-cultures, and animal in vivo and in situ experiments, as well as experiments in human tissues.
In the project, Ms. Segev will be responsible for optimization of the hydrogels as well as for the collaboration with BIU and PlasmaChem on the functionalization of nanotubes and piezoelectric particles.
